I have spent years in the business phone trenches, comparing providers, reading the fine print on contracts, and helping companies figure out what they actually need versus what a sales rep wants to sell them. Along the way I have signed up for, priced out, and stress-tested every major VoIP and UCaaS platform on the market.
I started VoIPCostSavings for one reason: almost every business I talked to was overpaying, often by 40% or more, for phone features they never used or could get cheaper elsewhere. The comparison sites that were supposed to help were mostly thinly disguised ads for whoever paid the most. So I built the opposite: honest, hands-on breakdowns of what each system costs, what it does well, and who it is actually right for.
How I review
Every comparison and review on this site follows the same process: I create a real account where possible, run the core workflows a business actually uses (calling, routing, video, mobile, admin), price out the plans for a few common team sizes, and dig into the contract terms and the fees that do not show up on the pricing page.
